Due to the anticipated winter weather this weekend, the schedule for Fire Service Improvement Conference has adjusted. The decision was made out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our members, instructors, and staff.
All students registered for class(es) during Fire Service Improvement Conference should have received an email notification detailing how the schedule adjustments have impacted specific classes. Details on the schedule modification are below.
Canceled classes:
Note: If you booked a hotel room at the DoubleTree, you are responsible for canceling it directly with the hotel. If you do not call to cancel, you will be considered a no-show and charged for the room. Contact the DoubleTree hotel team at (803) 731-0300.
All 3-day classes are moving forward as planned for Thursday, January 22 and Friday, January 23, with class from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. both days. On Saturday, class will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude by 11 a.m. Classes impacted by the early Saturday end time include:
The 2-day classes scheduled for Thursday, January 22 and Friday, January 23 are not expected to be impacted by the weather and are moving forward as scheduled at this time. Classes not impacted include:
The Friday “How-To Guide They Forgot to Write” seminar is on schedule.
The Saturday “One Bad Day – The Proactive Mindset” seminar will begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 11 a.m. Please note the start time is 30 minutes earlier than the time stated on the final confirmation email.
