Will was born October 18, 1974, he is the son of Benny Vaigneur and the late Linda Vaigneur of Port Royal, SC.  He has been married for thirteen years to Monica Vaigneur and is the proud father of a twelve year old son, Ben and a five year old daughter that rules the household, Chase. 

Will joined the fire service in 1999 and is currently holds the rank of Captain and is the Training Officer for Lady’s Island – St. Helena Fire District where he is committed to making a difference each and every day.  He was awarded the Firefighter of the Year in 2001 and received a Meritorious Action Award along with his unit in 2007.  He is also the recipient of the 2008 Frank Ballentine Award for his work as a fire service instructor.  He received an Associate’s degree in business from the University of South Carolina – Aiken in 1998.  He also has been published in Firehouse Magazine and is a contributing editor for www.rescuecuts.com.

Will has three loves in his life, his family, the fire service, and coaching youth sports.  Over the past year he coached his football team to a runner up for the state championship and his baseball team to the state tournament.  He also coaches a 13 and under travel baseball team that has been very successful, but is more proud of the character that he has built in his players.
